Ciao, il mio nome è Flavio Petrini

Sono fotoamatore

Nasco e vivo in Ancona, Italy, dalla fine degli anni ‘40, amo fotografare, pratico questa passione dal 1969 quando un commilitone mi diede in prestito una Canonette, sviluppati i primi scatti ci fu subito una folgorazione, la possibilità di fermare il tempo!

Da allora, più o meno – famiglia e lavoro permettendo – ho fotografato.

Ho sempre amato viaggiare, e farlo in modo non convenzionale, rifuggendo da troppe comodità per poter raggiungere luoghi fuori dal comune rispetto ai normali percorsi turistici, dove il contatto con gli indigeni costituisce il sale del viaggio.

La passione per i viaggi, unita all’amore per la fotografia, mi ha fatto raccogliere una mole enorme di materiale, soltanto minima una parte di essa è pubblicata su questo sito. I was born and I live in Ancona, Italy, from the late ’40s, I love photographing, practice this passion since 1969 when a fellow soldier handed me borrow a Canonette, developed the first pictures of an immediate electric shock, the ability to stop time!

Since then, more or less – family and work permitting – I photographed.

I always loved to travel, and do it in an unconventional way, avoiding much comfort to be able to get to places out of the ordinary compared to the normal tourist routes, where contact with the natives is the salt of the trip.

The passion for travel, combined with a love for photography, I did pick up a huge amount of material, only a minimum part of it is posted on this site.
